Ownership and limits¶
What you own, what you support, and what you stay out of.
You own outright¶
- One venture, end to end, during the internship.
- The founder's inbox — full ownership by week 2–3.
- All client follow-ups, contracts, notes, hiring prep, and financing prep — you draft, the founder cross-checks.
- This playbook — continuously updated. You are the named owner.
You support (you prepare; the founder or team decides)¶
- Hiring decisions — you prepare; the founder signs off.
- Financing decisions — you prepare; the founder signs off.
- The GTM system — you run and improve it; Niccolo owns the architecture.
You stay out of¶
- Engineering tasks — never assign, never interrupt the engineering team.
- Production deploys — never ship to production without sign-off; preview deploys are yours. The precise FA/engineering handoff line is still to be confirmed with August (see the open question below).
- Strategic direction — that is the founder's seat.
