When to escalate¶
| Situation | Do this |
|---|---|
| Founder unavailable, decision is reversible | Decide, then document it. |
| Founder unavailable, decision is irreversible | Wait, or escalate to Niccolo. |
| You need a decision you can't make | Escalate up the path. |
| You're blocked on access | Escalate early — don't sit on it. |
| Scope is ambiguous | Turn it into a short doc and ask a precise question. |
| Client risk, or anything touching legal, compliance, or secrets | Escalate immediately. |
